Your mission is to save the world from a terrorist organization named Odessa:

When a dangerous terrorist organization named Odessa begins its quest for world domination, an anti-terrorist group named ARMS is assigned to eliminate them. Your job will be to control several members of ARMS in order to put an end to Odessa’s evil plan to take over the world.

You’ll get to play as a wide variety of characters:

Some of the unique characters which you’ll get to control include a teenage sorceress named Lila, Ashley who is a skilled gunfighter, and Brad, who is a former war hero. Part of the fun of playing Wild Arms 2 is discovering how to use each character’s abilities in order to solve the increasingly difficult puzzles that you’ll be faced with in order to destroy Odessa.

It’s well worth noting that each member in your team will be able to unlock three special tools. As an example, Kanon is able to use the jump shoes, the rad blades, and the wire hook. As you progress through the game, you’ll gradually be able to unlock all three of each character’s tools.
