Ty’s main goal is to protect a talisman machine:
When you play as Ty one of your main missions will be to collect as many thundereggs as possible in order to power your talisman machine. Once you’ve collected all of the available thundereggs you’ll be able to activate your talisman machine. At this point, you’ll be able to track down five rare magical talismans which you can use to free your trapped family from a mysterious realm named the dreaming. Just beware that once you make it to the dreaming you’ll have to face off against the toughest boss of the game, Boss Cass. In the game, Ty’s family are bilbies, native Australian marsupials that exist in real life.
